EAST KURDISTAN, — The condition of two Kurdish political prisoners deteriorated, Kurdish Prisoner’s Committee reported.
The Kurdish prisoners Behroz Ilxani and Ekber Ekberpur were arrested 2 years ago and had been charged with high sentences by the Iranian Revolutionary Court.
Mr Ilxani from Selmas city was condemned to death, convicted of “enmity against God” (Moharebe).
Mr Ekberpur from Xoy city sentenced to 13 years imprisonment with the same charge as Ilxani.
It’s stated that they had been under brutal tortures for several months while they were under investigation by the Iranian Intelligent Service.
Mr Elxani and Ekberpur transferred to the section of Urmiye’s prison where most drug addicts are held.
Both prisoners and Kurdish Prisoner’s Committee request help from all human right organisations especially from international human right organisations and activists.
