URMIYE, East of Kurdistan, – Kurdish students of the University of Urmiye were stopped from engaging in an activity of wearing Kurdish custom.
Kurdish students of Urmiye University had organised an event to wear Kurdish traditional cloths and introduce them to other nationalities studying at the university.
Their activity was first authorized by the cultural department of the university, but the Basij (regime’s supporters) department restricted the event and did not let students to hold it.
