SINE, — Kurdish language is prohibited by the chief head of the University of Sine, Mukrian news agency reported.
After the permission of Iranian authorities for having a few credits of Mother Language courses in the universities, according to the article 15 of the Iranian Law, a few universities in the Kurdish cities had started to provide the courses.
However, the head of the University of Sine has stood against this law and not permitted Sine University to avail of this opportunity.
This is more than a century that native languages such as Kurdish, Azeri, Baluch and Arabic are prohibited and not allowed to be used in the system of education.
