closed_shopsNORTH KURDISTAN, — According to our local correspondents Kurdish people in North Kurdistan closed down their shops in most cities to protest the Turkish savagery of cutting body of 24 guerrillas apart.

The bodies are cut apart making it really hard to realise them but one body has been identified as being the body of guerrilla Ebru Muhi Kancı who was born in Kars.

After visiting the morgue, yesterday, BDP co-chair Selahedin Demirtash had said that “It is a great tragedy and sadness for us to see the children of this people, who try to end the war, who demand peace and make so much effort for a solution, to lose their lives in this way.”

Temirtau had call on the people to shout their outrage and condemnation of this violence. The call is being answered today in many Kurdish cities both with the shops not opening and rallies.

There will be also rallies in Amed (Diyarbakir) where most shops are closed, Cizre, Hazro, Silvan, Bismil, Idil, Mardin among other places.
