QENDIL, Defence Regions of Medya, — PJAK’s Committee of Defending Political Prisoners presented its support in a statement for the demand of the prisoners of Rajayshahr prison in Karaj city.
A copy of the statement sent to Rojhelat today reads as follow:
The prisoners of Rajayshahr Detention have initiated a campaign of fasting from 6 October to protest humiliation and contemptuous treatment of Iranian officials.
The Iranian prisoners particularly the Kurdish detainees who have struggled to preserve their identity are tried in show trails of few munities duration. They are tried in illegal manner and receive long term imprisonments. Following the show trials, which are instance of the travesty of justice, they will be subjected to further humiliation and derision in the Intelligence Service Department.
As the PJAK’s Committee of Defending Political Prisoners, we regard the position of the prisoners of Rajayshahr detainees, as appropriate and present our support to their campaign. We also demand that the political prisoners particularly the Kurdish political prisoners must not be subjected to humiliation or contemptuous treatment. We also appeal to all section of our society to support the demands of the political prisoners in Iran and Kurdistan.
