Turkey: Photo of shame, dismembered body of Kurdish guerrillas

guerrilla_bodyNEWSDESK, — Turkish war in Kurdistan has eroded ethical principles and the rules of law. In this disturbing photo you see how the Turkish soldiers have dismembered the body of Kurdish guerrillas and bereft them on the public site to terrorise civilians.

It is not clear where and when the photo was taken but the content is unmistakably an intimidation for the Kurdish people. It shows the slain body of two guerrillas, tied with a rope, in front of a monument dedicated to the founder of the Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.

The bust of Ataturk bears the slogan of the Republic, “Happy is he who can say I am a Turk”.

Behind there is another slogan, “A country cannot be divided”.

The photo is a strike and disturbing reminding that nothing has changed as far as the approach towards the legitimate demands of the Kurds is concerned.

It is about time everyone takes a closer look at the images like this and rise their voice against the brutality of war and the ongoing repression of Kurds.

Everyone should ask who the terrorist is and who is the victim of it? Who is the oppressor and who is the oppressed? Who is the occupier and who is the denied with the very basic right including a decent life in their homeland?

40 million people are denied with their national and human rights. Turkey slaughter them in the most terrible way, Iran execute them callously, no need to mention what the Iraqi government did to them.

But are not the Kurds human? Don’t they deserve a life as equal to the other nations in the world? What they want and what are their demands? Would such kinds of state terror deter the Kurds from pursuing their demands?!
