Iran is preparing for military operations

pasdar._tankSERDESHT, — Iran is speeding up efforts to launch another series of offensives on South Kurdistan and particularly the Qendil Mountains.

According to the local sources the Iranian Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has stepped up military manoeuvres within the last few days and it is predicted that it might wage another war on the Kurdish people.

Scores of helicopters have been manoeuvring over the cities of Serdesht and Bane for the last few days making demonstration flights intimidating the residents.

The air demonstration is coinciding with the stationing of huge numbers of heavy weaponries including tank, katuysha, and cannon-launchers.

In the meantime Iran is doing its utmost to force the local people into collaboration and mercenary service, setting them against the Kurdish guerrillas of HRK (East Kurdistan Defence Forces)

It is reported that a sizeable numbers of local collaborators have dropped their arms and refused to go to war against the Kurdish guerrillas. Nevertheless, the Iranian regime has speeded efforts to force people taking up arms against the Kurdish guerrillas.

In the meantime the Iranian Ambassador to Turkey Bahman Hosseinpour is reported to be holding a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag at the prime minister’s office at the moment.

The meeting is thought to be about the joint military operation of Turkey and Iran against the PKK in Turkey and PJAK in Iran.
