AMED, — Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Permanent Assembly has made a decision to create an initiative to create a proper environment for the Kurdish national leader Abdullah Ocalan in terms of “health, safety and freedom of movement” conditions, ANF reports.
Making a statement about the first session meeting of the third term, DTK Permanent Assembly remarked that the main titles discussed during the meeting were Democratic Autonomy, the initiative to be formed for Ocalan’s freedom and the National Conference.
The statement said; “We have made a decision to form the initiative to enable Ocalan play his role straightly and to conduct our works within a drawing which will have diplomatic and operational dimensions on the basis of a legitimate, democratic and legal framework.
One other subject handled during the meeting was the workings for the National Conference which is planned to take place in South Kurdistan in October. With a self-criticism of the past, the meeting laid emphasis and decided on the need for an institutionalization in parallel with the building of Democratic Autonomy in the new period. Detailed information on our workings and projection will soon be shared with the public opinion by the Coordination Board.” (D.F)
