Once again IRGC stopped by Kurdish guerrillas

gerilla_kadinBERDENAZE, — While the Iranian Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) continues its invasion of South Kurdistan since July 16, their new attempt to cross the border was once again prevented by the Kurdish guerrillas on yesterday.

Every single bid of the Iranian Revolution Guard Corps to cross the border has so far been repulsed by the resistance of PJAK’s guerrillas. Today is the 19th day of the operation.

Iranian Guards were repulsed once again by the Kurdish guerrillas on Tuesday while trying to cross the border from Berdenaze.

At 09.30 of the same day, a guerrilla launched an attack on the position of the Iranian troops who were trying to build a road at East Kurdistan border at morning hours.

There are yet no reports about whether there are any casualties in yesterday’s clashes between guerrillas and the army.

It has been reported that the Iranian forces are gearing up a broader operation on the border.
