IRAN, — The hunger strikes staged by Kurdish political prisoners held in Minab and Rajaishahr Detentions are continued and the reports are pointing to the life threatening conditions of the detainees.
Kurdish journalist and political activist Kemal Sherifi is entering 40th days of his hunger strike and his health condition is reported as being of life threatening state.
It should be noted that due to his critical conditions Mr Sherifi has been collapsed twice and he was taken to hospital for the second times.
Mr. Sherifi has been sentenced to 30 years of which he has served only 3 years and he has no right if family visit.
Enwer Xizri another Kurdish prisoner of conscious held in Rajaishahr Detention is entering his 37th days of hunger strike.
Despite the life threatening conditions of these prisoners the Iranian authorities have not responded to their demands.
