DALAHO, — Conflagration of forests in East Kurdistan is increasing and so far not a single preventative step has been taken to stop the destruction of Kurdish countryside or to extinguish the devastating fire.
Several hectares of the forests and the pasture of the mountains of Rejaw, Zerde, Shesheder and Barej Terrains in the region of Dalaho were destroyed by the combustion.
It should be noted that not only the Iranian authorities have not made the slightest effort to prevent the inferno, but in many cases eyes witness have claimed that the Iranian Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) set fires on the forests of Kurdistan.
At the one hand the IRGC sets fire on the forests of Kurdistan to fight against the Kurdish guerrillas, at the other hand it is preparing for military operations and constantly shells the Kurdish villages.
According to the statement announced by PJAK (Free Life Party of Kurdistan), Iranian military forces are setting up military outposts in the villages of Lon, Qazrxani, Geshki, Tileko, and Tengiwer of Kamyaran district.
