10 Turkish militaries killed as they tried cross border

guerrillaCULEMERG, — Turkish state’s persistence on war and violence resulted in the death of 10 militaries who sought to cross the pseudo- borders of Kurdistan, report said today.

People’s Defence Forces (HPG) declared in a statement that a brigade of Turkish army who sought cross the borders of South Kurdistan was encountered with their forces and as a result 10 militaries were killed two of whom are reported to be high ranking.

The Press and Communication Centre of HPG stated that on 29th June a brigade of Turkish army sought to cross the border of Chele in Culemerg region but they were confronted with their forces.

According to the statement the direct fighting took place in region Bene and Heyni Valley.

As a result of the combat 10 Turkish militaries were killed. And 1 general, 2 senior members of the military, another high ranking and 5 soldiers were killed in the skirmish.

After the combat, military helicopters bombed the areas using chemical weapons.

The region was also shelled for 4 hours.
