BOKAN, East Kurdistan, — Forest burning in Kurdistan is increasingly going on and the Iranian authorities have not taken a slightest step to prevent the catastrophe.
More than 13 hectares of farm land and the forests of Bokan district were destroyed by the fire while the state’s authorities stood by watching the inferno.
According to Mukrian News Agency 7 hectares of forest lands in Black Mountain along with 6 hectares of lands in the suburb of the city have been destroyed by the fires.
It should be noted that despite the increasing level of conflagrations and destruction of Kurdish nature, not only the Iranian authorities have not made the slightest effort to prevent that, but in many cases eyes witness have claimed that the Iranian Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) set fires on the forests of Kurdistan.
