IRAN, — International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran has released a video which testifies the widespread phenomena of rape in the Iranian prisons.
The video is about a story of a woman who was tortured and raped in prison. The story is shocking and exhibits the truth nature of Iranian detentions and the systematic tortures and degradations the prisoners are subjected to.
After the sparking of the unrests followed by Ahmadinejad’s coup, Mehedi Karobi one of the leaders of “green movement” talked about male and female prisoners who had been raped, and he raised his objection to rape and denounced it as anti-Islamic.
In the bellow video the girl describes her extensive torture and repeated rape after her arbitrary arrest.
Her testimony challenges the Iranian authorities’ official narrative, which denies widespread use of torture and rape by security forces against ordinary protestors.
