HAKKARI, North Kurdistan, — While Kurdish guerrillas stay in non-active phase and the Kurdish people are on the streets preparing for June 12 election, the Turkish military operations are sustained unabatedly.
Turkish Military Forces (TSK) launched a new operation in the countryside of Yemişli (Dotkan), Sorî, Dirişk and Sarıtaş (Dirbisan) Villages in Yüksekova, a district of Hakkari in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Heavily armed soldiers took part in the operation, locals have reported. All this week a heavy activity has been reported in Diyarbakir with F-16 planes flying constantly over the skies of the city.
