EAST KURDISTAN, — Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has initiated a range of operations in the regions of Shaho and Ciwanro in East Kurdistan.
According to our local correspondence IRGC forces had launched widespread operations in the Pirexidir Height, Chain Mountains of Shaho and Ciwanro regions.
The operations are reported to be aided by the local collaborators and mercenaries. The operations took the whole day and ended with no outcome despite incurring a considerable expenditure.
The eye witness said that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps contaminated the water well in Tileko and Lon with poison.
The villagers voiced their objection to the military operations and the poisoning of the wells. The Iranian forces claimed these villages have supported the Kurdish guerrillas; this is why they keep them under siege.
