MAKO, East Kurdistan, — As we had announced previously, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards initiated a military operation against the guerrillas of the Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK).
Following the initiation of these operations, clash broke out between the Iranian militaries and the Kurdish guerrilla forces in Mako.
According to Firat News Agency, the fight broke out on yesterday in the area of Demhat in the middle of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The combat began at 6 am and it led to heavy clash among the PJAK guerrillas and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.
The Iranian forces suffered a heavy blow but their number of casualties is not being reported. The guerrilla forces had no casualities.
Once the clash ended, the Iranian military heavily shelled the region.
