TEHRAN, Iran, — A Kurdish prisoner who had been held in Awin House of Detention in Tehran lost his life due to the lack of care and medical treatments.
Hasan Nahid was arrested in 2004 and trialled in Revolutionary Court. He was sentenced to three years imprisonments and the amount 63,000 euro as compensation.
After serving of the three years charge, he was not able to make the payment. Hence the Revolutionary Court sentenced him for another three years instead of the payment.
Hasan Nahid started to suffer from cancer and due to the lack of care and medical treatments lost his life in Awin House of Detention.
