URMIYE, — Nine people including two females were executed in the last twenty four hours in Urmiye prison in East Kurdistan, report said.
Regardless to the international condemnation of the barbaric act of execution by hanging, the Iranian authorities are continuously hanging people including political activists.
Seven Kurds and two Azeri who were charged with drug-trading executed in Urmiye prison.
It should be pointed out that some of the sources have reported the number the executed as 11, but the names of the two is not given out yet.
134 people have been executed in Iran since the beginning of 2011.
