The bellow is the statement published by HRK today.
For the public opinion
With the intention of the destruction of the will and determination of the Kurdish people, the Islamic Republic of Iran has resorted to all sorts of inhuman methods ranging from physical killing, tortures and executions, to social and cultural annihilation of our nation. Very lately our comrade Hemin (Husen Xizri) was executed in a vicious and inhuman way by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
We as the East Kurdistan Defence Forces (HRK) evaluate the execution of our comrade Hemin, as an initial step for the massacre of Kurdish people taken by the Islamic Republic. For we see ourselves as responsible for the protection of our people’s existence, honour, and identity, we are obliged to put a stop on the massacre, offensive and the acts of violence perpetrated against our people by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Therefore, a unit of our guerrilla forces launched a strike on a military vehicle of Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Besarani Square in the city of Meriwan on Saturday 19th. As a result of the strike, five Iranian commandos were killed and our forces left the scene intact.
