PAWE, East Kurdistan, — The brother of Sanih Jale, the Kurdish student who was killed by a gunshot of Iranian police during a protest, was arrested, report said today.
Sanih Jale was shot dead in a demonstration held in Tehran in solidarity with the people of Tunisia and Egypt following their revolution.
The Iranian authorities claimed that Sanih was a member of pro-government militia, Basij, meaning “the mobilised”, and he was shot dead by the demonstrators.
His brother Qanih Jale said in an interview with VOA that his brother was not the member of Besij at all and he was not shot by the demonstrators.
Not long after his interview, the Iranian Intelligent Units arrested Qanih Jale for saying the truth and rejecting the fabricated claim of the Iranian officials.
