HPG carried out a responsive attack on Turkish army

guerrillaMARDIN, North Kurdistan, — Kurdistan Defence Forces (HPG) carried out a responsive attack and killed one Turkish military.

Lat week HPG warned Turkish army to stop its military operation in Kurdistan to avoid further bloodshed.

Turkish military operations carried out with no regard to HPG’s warnings.

HPG carried out a responsive attack on Turkish Army and killed one military on December 16 in Dargecit, a district of Mardin province.

HPG said the attack was a response to the Turkish operation last week in which two Kurdish guerrillas lost their lives.

Two Kurdish guerrillas were killed in separate clashes in Sirnak and Batman by Turkish army.

Kurdish guerrillas are in position of ceasefire which was declared by the PKK last August. But Turkish army continues its bombardment of suspected guerrilla positions and military operations in Kurdistan.

Nearly 30 Kurdish guerrillas were killed as a result of Turkish military operations since August.

HPG is the military wing of Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) resisting to the oppression of Kurdish people in the Middle East.
