HPG Court trialled its guerrillas

HPGQENDIL, Kurdistan, — The Kurdish Defence Forces (HPG) which has signed the war treaty trialled 2 of its guerrillas who caused the death of four people in August, report said today.

HPG trialled 2 Kurdish guerrillas of its ranks and sentenced them to 20 and 24 years’ imprisonments.

These 2 guerrillas were known as Ferhad Filat and Fikri Bimar and caused the death of four people in last August.

The HPG Court convicted of the 2 guerrillas for planting a mine in the village of Srikani which resulted in the death of four people.

HPG Court maintained that mine planting is a war crime and any one who commits such act is guilty of war crime.

HPG is the military wing of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
