We demand freedom and democracy; the abolition of the State of Emergency and martial law; reform of the judiciary; permanent ending of political detention and the release of all detainees; the right to express opinion; and the abolition of laws and courts that restrict these basic rights, especially the Supreme State Security Court in Damascus.
