EASTERN KURDISTAN, — The forests of Kurdistan are constantly set on fire and burned by the Islamic regimes agents with different excuses. Accordingly, 120 hectares of SEQEZ city in Eastern Kurdistan has been burned.
Although the Iranian regimes authorities are constitutionally obliged to protect environment and forest all over the Iran, systematically regimes authorities ignore the forest burning. As a result regimes ignorance, the organisations such as ANCOMANY SAWZ CHYA (Green mountain organisation have asked people to extinguish the fire.
Iranian Revolutionary Guards, however, are creating barrier and obstacles in order to prevent people from responding to the Anjoman Chia Saz request, which is extinguishing the fire and prevent any further expansion of the fire. The Green Mountain Organization highlighted some points for the people to follow in order to be able to control the fire from further spreading.
• In order to control fire exclusively, volunteer your time and coordinated it with the Green Mountain Organization.
• When you see any fire wherever in Eastern Kurdistan, try to extinguish and ask people to cooperate in extinguishing process, who are happy to help.
• Try to identify the agents who set the forests on fire and report their names to ANJOMAN SABZ CHYA organisation.
• Provide economic support and encourage people to take responsibility, in extinguishing process.
In conjunction to this, 60 civil, political and journalists in a coordinate statement have asked people to save Kurdistan forests and condemn the ignorance of the Iranian regime towards Kurdish jungles and peoples.
