Kurdish leader Mr Ocalan was denied to meet his lawyers.

IMRALI, Northern Kurdistan, Turkey–According to the Firat News Agency, lawyers of imprisoned Kurdish Leader Mr Abdullah Ocalan were denied to visit their client today 11/08/2010. Turkish authorities regularly prevent Mr Ocalan lawyers from seeing him, each time on bases of unreasonable excuse.

Today Turkish authorities claimed that the coaster is broken and there is no other rental coaster to carry them to the island.

Mr. Ocalan Lawyers Ibrahim Bilmez and Mehdi Öztüzün went to Gemlik district of Bursa in order to carry out their regular weekly meeting with their client, but as usual the responsible authorities declined to issue permission to the lawyers to perform their legal and constitutional task.

It is reported that two coasters have not been repaired since last week and there is no rental coasters in the district. It is worth to mention that the Turkish governments despite having signed several Human Rights and prevention of all kind of torture and discrimination treaties; continuously they breach the International law and Human Rights conventions where it concerns Kurdish people and Kurdish question.

Turkish authorities are responsible to provide safe transport facilities to the lawyers in order to perform their legal obligations on the weekly bases. Turkish government on regular bases, specially Prime Minster Receb tayyeb Ordogan, condemn Guantanamo’s and Israeli prisons policies and rules toward the imprisoned people, whereas there are thousands of Kurdish imprisoned politicians in Turkish prisons who are in worse condition, and prevented from their basic Human Rights.

Mr Ocalan was kidnapped in Kenyan capital on 15/02/1999 by some International powers and extradited to the Turkey.
