HRK, Defence Forces of Eastern Kurdistan, — The Defence forces of PJAK, HRK, has revealed that in a responding operation they have had in Jwanro, a city in Eastern Kurdistan, 4 anti-guerrillas have been killed and 2 more are wounded.
HRK announced that, this operation has been done in responds to the fatal war that Iranian regime is imposing on Kurds and in defense of the Kurdish people in accordance with Article 51 of UN Charter.
The revolutionary guards of the Iranian cruel regime with help of disloyal Kurds have killed a guerrilla named Adam Yaldo from Northern Kurdistan on 24th July 2010 and have wounded another guerrilla with the name Mohammad Amini from Khoy in Eastern Kurdistan, who resisted the revolutionary guards till he was martyred . In respond to the military operations, which are carried out by the Iranian regime in Eastern Kurdistan against the Kurds, the Eastern Defense Force, HRK, exploited its legitimate right to defend the Kurds.
Article 2(4) of the UN Charter which prohibits Use of Force by states was incorporated and elaborated as a principle of International law in the 1970 Declaration on Principle of International Law, which in one of its paragraphs states that “States must not use force to deprive peoples of their rights to self determination and independence”. It might be argued that the Declaration of 1970 is not binding law, but because of its nature, which is classified as Customary International Law it has priority in International legal system.
Iranian regime which is member of United Nation and has legal personality is continuously breaching International law. As a result of the regimes disobedience to the International legal system, Kurds have no choice except to set up their forces, to defend them from the Islamic regimes.
HRK is the Defence Forces of PJAK, the Free Life Party of Kurdistan.
PJAK was founded in 2004 as the result of the systematic and continuous oppression of the Kurdish nation by the Iranian government. PJAK upholds the libertarian ideology of Apoism which advocates an ecological-democratic society with gender equality. PJAK’s main goal is to democratise Iranian system and to create a democratic con-federation for the long- oppressed Kurds.
Its initial objective is to limit and change the authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran and to democratise it in four fundamental areas; the nation, society, citizenship and to evolve the state into a self-governing institution able to deliver public services and to maintain public security.
For the past 6 years PJAK has been the most influential political, social, cultural and Human Rights organisation of the Kurdish population in the Eastern Kurdistan and has the strongest popular support in this part of the Kurdistan. Three particular dynamics forces namely women, students and the youths have been increasingly joining PJAK with the aims of transforming their society. Women constitute more than 48% PJAK’s membership from the bottom to the leadership of the organisation
