Iran, — Mohammad Raza Naqdi, Bassij commander, has announced on Wednesday night on 28th July 2010 in Zanjan during his speech for other commanders of Bassji stated that 7 thousand stations have been constructed for Bassij.
He also stated that, the budget of Bassij has been significantly increased by 7 times. However, people of Iran are under economic pressure and really tough situation since inflation have reached its significant pick as a result of European Union’s sanctions and imposing war to nation’s inside such as Kurds, Baluches, Arabs and Azaries.
Bassij is one of the most important parts of Iranian Revolutionary Guards which has fixed in most important places such as universities, courts, banks and parliament. In addition, they can challenge all social and political events which are against Iranian regime as they are supported well by top officials of Iranian government such as Khamenai, Iranian supreme leader, and Mahmood Ahmadinejad, the Iranian Prime Minister.
It’s of great importance to note that Basij is not an official authority, Army or Police forces. Basij is new Revolutionary, State officials recruitment organization, which means inculcating people with Islamic fundamental ideology and mobilizing them. Basij will know within the Iranian people for their brutality and mass murders they have committed since the last 31 years of the Iranian contemporary history. Formation of new Basij headquarters in Iranian towns and cities indication of unpopularity of regime within the Iranian peoples.
