Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK) is wishing a happy New Year to the Christian world and the supporters of peace. PJAK expressed their hopes and wishes for 2015 to be a year filled with peace, freedom, stability (prosperity) and a year marking the end of wars and human tragedies.
PJAK has stated that today more than any other time, humanity needs Jesus’ methods to solve violence and inequality, through means of conscience awareness and dialogue.
“Jesus always tried to solve issues in democratic and peaceful manners and always chose peace and democracy in face of crisis. Jesus resisted against injustice, and had a revolutionary approach with philosophical thoughts and ideas“, said PJAK.
PJAK continued by saying that Jesus´ revolution successfully brought millions of people towards a peaceful philosophy. “Jesus always managed to priorities dialogues in a peaceful manner. Despite all the pain and suffering he had to endure during his revolution, he did not give in to conflicts. “
Individuals and groups that are accepting cultural resistance should also be able to adapt to Jesus’ resistance and revolution, a philosophy that Jesus gave to all humanity. At current state, when humanity is witnessing (the brutality of ISIS ? ), followers of Jesus should be able to take a stand in a peaceful and conscientious approach and show that violence has no place in Jesus´ teaching.
PJAK´s statement describes 2014 as a year filled with pain and agony for hundreds of thousands of people, including women and children that were killed due to political and religious contradictions. The situation in Middle East is continuingly at a brutal and horrific stage and the conflicts worsen by each passing day.
The assembly of PJAK has announced that if the difficulties do not change or come to an end, one has to be prepared for a larger number of massacres in near future. “We express a hope that this New Year will bring forth a firm public stance against those who are the enemies of democracy and freedom and for humanity to stand by the people whose lives have turned into a hell. We hope for a great unity in order to defeat the enemies of humanity, peace and democracy”.
