While the Middle East and the heart of Kurdistan have undergone major changes, global hegemonic forces are trying to replace their optimal designs in the region. This is the only force that is seeking self-determination according to the will of the inherent are Kurds that do not want to stay without a helmet again like the treaties of Lausanne 1923 and Sykes-Pico 1916.
The global and regional powers, with full awareness of the growing movement for freedom are trying to prevent the formation of alliances between Kurdish people and flourish of free will in Kurdistan with taking advantage of the criminal groups and various methods of terror and intimidation also massacre of humans. In the meantime they are taking full advantage of both the Islamic State and other reactionaries of the region.
Now Kurdistan is target of extensive by the Islamic State gang’s. While there is a grave threat against the Kurdish nation but it has evolved a growing solidarity among Kurds, what the enemies of Kurdistan did not imagine and thus the threats that will become a golden opportunity. These developments have been so rapid that it has surprised the United States and all the regional governments strongly.
With an overview of developments in the past few days, it can be realized well. Formation of a new Iraqi government, despite opposition Nouri al-Maliki and his threats that can be considered terminated by the intervention of America and supported by the White House by new Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi. On the other hand, despite the lack of definitive commitment of Barak Obama to attack ISIS, has bombed the positions of Islamic State terrorists by the American Fighters in the past few days which has a significant role in the balance of power. However, Germany, France and Great Britain have raised the military support of “KRG” Kurdistan Regional Government.
In the meantime, Turkey has been silent for the hostage of 49 Turkish officials by the ISIS. However, regional and global policies do not give value to the lives of the people and in the absence of appropriate tactics; the hostages were likely to be victimized for adventures in Ankara.
In this circumstance the Islamic Republic of Iran which is already indirectly cooperating with America over Iraq is concerned about the unity of all occupied parts of Kurdistan and the formation of people demands that it has missed. The government fears the eruption of the national sentiments volcano’s in people of Rojhelat (Eastern Kurdistan), therefore they resort to every trick.
In the first reaction the Iranian regime officials asked KRG to avoid entering PDKI peshmerga (Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan) into conflict with ISIS terrorist group. Following this call by the KRG, PDKI peshmerga returned to their camps.
Apart from the necessity of free will or lack thereof with the Kurdish political forces, the government action is a failure of policy makers in Iran to show that they are no alternative to a peaceful resolution of the Kurdish people’s demands.
In connection with the brutal attack by Islamic State to Shengal (Sinjar) released statements by the Kurdish parties and organizations. Co-chaired of KODAR (Free and Democratic Society of Eastern Kurdistan) also condemned the terrorist attacks on the Shengal, “It is an act of massacre and genocide of the Kurdish people which can be a serious threat to regional and international security that must be carefully analyzed”. KODAR states: “We absolutely will not remain silent in the face of genocide against the Shengal Kurds will and powerful response to any act of the enemies of the Kurdish People and Any hostile action against the Kurdish people will be faced with the overwhelming response from our guerrillas”.
In this regard, KJAR (Free Women Society of East Kurdistan) has deemed “ISIS attacks under the banner of Islam to destroy other belies and religions although their purposes is not religion and Islam rather it is used as a tool”. KJAR adds: “the creators of Islamic State are trying to call themselves as saviours of the Kurdish people. Their main goal is the destruction of the Kurdish people and established policy of denial and assimilation on Kurdistan that has been done many years ago by imperialism and the occupation forces of the land.
