Following the killing of Kurdish Kolbers in Rojhelat (Eastern Kurdistan), was killed a Kurdish youth from Serdesht and one Kolber was wounded by the direct firing from the Iranian troops.
Saman Xizri 26 newlywed from Nalas (Serdesht funtions) was murdered on Saturday by the border forces of Iran under the pretext of carrying contraband.
It is worth nothing after Saman killing the forces was tied his body to a car then were dragged on the ground that has caused public discontent in Serdesht.
In the same action the border troops wounded one other Kolbers named Wefa in Marexan the village of Serdesht by direct shooting.
In first of January the Iranian forces also confiscated 15 horses with its goods belonging to the Kolbers in Dolan mountain areas (Betushi Alan).
There is a very high unemployment in Kurdistan region as Kurds are not allowed to open their own factories and introducing new jobs. Lack of government investment and mismanagement in the development of these areasin has created Kolberi phenomenon.
In his recent report to the UN General Assembly, UN Special Rapporteur on Iran Ahmed Shaheed highlighted the “indiscriminate killings of Kolbers in violation of the domestic laws and international obligations of Iran.”
