In an interview with Newroz TV Rezan Cawid a member of PJAK (Free Life Party of Kurdistan) assessed the current political circumstances in Iran, strongly condemning the execution of PJAK members Habibullah Golparipour and Reza Ismaili.
It seems some changes have been made recently by Hassan Rouhani’s government long before the presidential election in Iran. PJAK required that the Iranian governments should undertake fundamental changes in its policies. However, such changes are not possible in that circumstance, he said.
Despite these conditions, both reformers and conservatives agree with Rouhanis position. All the military and administrators in Iran have begun a coordinating a wave of attacks against the Kurdish nation and other nationalities in Iran.
While condemning the brutal execution of Habibullah Golparipour and Reza Ismaili, Cawid said that Golparipour fought for democratization in Iran but in fact, by his hanging, they hanged democracy.
In regard to the ceasefire between the Iranian government and PJAK forces. According to Rezan Cawid the PJAK has been leading a peaceful campaign for the solution of the Kurdish issue.
The liberation movement of the Kurdish nation in the Eastern part of Kurdistan pioneered by PJAK is stronger than before. It will provide the revolution with all its requirements leading it to the highest position. Unlike to what that has been perceived, our respond to the execution of our comrades would not be based on few military acts. Instead, it would be opposite and historically aimed at achieving final freedom and the end of Iranian political games against the Kurdish people.
