IRAN, ISFAHAN ─ According to “Democratic Partnership Party of Ahwaz, last week Saeid Lawimi, Arab civil activist has been executed by Iranian regime in Isfahan.
Last week, Tuesday Saeid Lawimi who was an Arab cultural activist, has been hanged pursuant to the verdict issued by Revolutionary Court in Isfahan Prison. Al-ahwaz website reported.
According to the report, Mr Lawimi had been transferred to Isfahan from Ahwaz intelligence Office in October 8 and is carried out his execution without prior notice.
In the report is not mentioned in charge of the prison executed but in recent years some Arab political activists have been hanged by the Iranian regime on the grounds of enmity against Islamic State.
From the beginning of 2013, Iran’s Supreme Court has approved death sentence of 11 Ahwaz Arabs activists who are in Karoon Prison. Their names are as follows:
Mohammad Ali Amuri, Hadi Rashedi, Hashem Shaabani, Mokhtar Alboshoke, Jaber Alboshoke, Abdol Reza Amir Khanafare, Ghazi Abasi, Abdol Amir Majdami, Jasem Moqadam, Ali Chabishat and Seyed Yasin Musawi.
Since Rohani’s government came to power, dozens of Ahwaz Arabs activists have been arrested and they are subjected to brutal torture in the intelligence service centers, Arabic sites have reported.
Arabs are among the nations that inhabited in the current geography of Iran. Based on statistics provided by the government, they make up over two percent of total population of the country however statistics released by the Arab activists is far more than this figure.
Khuzestan is on the top of provinces that Arab citizen’s density is high due to its town and villages, 100% of the Arab population or predominantly Arab. Bushehr and Hormozgan provinces are next in rank.
Most of Arabs have migrated inevitably to other parts of Iran because of security and economic problems.
