8 Turkish militaries killed

gerilla-womanKURDISTAN, — People’s Defence Forces (HPG), through a statement, publicised the identity of two guerrillas who lost their lives in Qilaban’s area combating the Turkish militaries.

“Our forces carried out a strike on the Turkish military outpost in Yekmalan Hill and killed 8 militaries in the combat,” HPG’s statement read.

Kurdish guerrillas launched a strike on Turkish army in the night of 14th May in Yekmalan Hill and killed 4 Turkish militaries, the statement elaborated on the combat.

HPG reported the death of a Kurdish guerrilla Ahmed Shexo, nick-named as Heqqi Efrin born in Aleppo in West Kurdistan (Syria) in1979, who lost his life in that event.

HPG also stated that Turkish militaries were gearing up for a new launch on the Kore Shinwe Hill of Qilaban; they were encountered with the responsive launches of Kurdish guerrillas and forced to retreat.

Four Turkish militaries were killed on Kore Shinwe Hill and one guerrilla Atanur Shahin known by the code-name of Shorish Serhed was seriously injured and died of the wound.

8 Turkish militaries and 2 Kurdish guerrillas were killed in that battle. The former fight to occupy and kill; the latter fight to resist and live.
