PJAK condemned execution of Arab activists in Ahwaz

alaye_PJAKQENDIL, Defence Regions of Medya, — Following the execution of nine Arab civil activists, the coordination of the Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK) released a statement in which it strongly condemned this execution.

“The Iranian authorities executed nine Arab activists in Ahwaz on 8th May. The only crime of these activists has been their rights-seeking campaign and their resistance to the cruelties and the injustice that the Arabs of the region have been subjected to,” PJAK’s statement said.

PJAK draws attention to the Iranian oppressive approach to the Arabs and other Iranian nations and how their struggles for freedom and justice have been encountered by the violence of the Islamic republic.

“The gallows and the execution can’t not instil fear in the heart of the Iranian and drift them away from the legitimate struggle for their human rights. In fact, the suppression would render them more determined in their way,” the statement elaborates.

At the end of the statement, PJAK exhibits its solidarity with the Arab nation and strongly condemned the execution and also criticised the international community’s silence in the face of such inhumanities in Iran.
