ANHA ─ The Executive Body of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) condemned the mass executions committed by the Iranian authorities against 21 Kurdish politicians, calling the UN to move immediately to stop the imminent implementation of convictions against some Iranian democratic activists including Kurds.
The Executive Body of the Democratic Society Movement released a statement about the mass executions committed by the Iranian authorities against some Kurdish political activists, and the statement is follows:
Within a month, the execution of 21 Kurdish activists including a poet in Iran by the tyrant authorities is considered a criminal irresponsible act towards humanity first, regardless of its aggressive acts which equal annihilation and denial carried out against the Kurdish case in Iran.
The Iranian authorities not perceiving the current changes in the Middle East as consequences of the poor handling of the despotic regimes of the cases of the Middle East in general, and the Kurdish case in particular, the status quo is calling for the struggle against the fascism embodied in arrestments, executions, and silencing policies believing that it may succeed in undermining their will, and humiliating the peoples; the revolutions and the folk’s upheavals proved to be completely wrong and useless.
We strongly decry and denounce this horrible crime against Kurdish activists, as the Executive Body of TEV-DEM and decry at the same time all the policies aiming at the denial of the Kurdish case and the negative role played against it involving secret and declared agreements, and refusing democratic changes that are taking place in the four parts of Kurdistan.
We also call the UN to a quick intervention to stop the imminent convictions of democratic Iranian activists, including Kurds and appeal to all human rights and civil society organizations to find a quick final solution to all these cases, and finally we support the resistance shown by our people and all the democratic powers in Iran for the just case of the people living on their historical land till the Middle East is transformed to democracy guaranteeing all rights of its peoples, cultures, ideologies and religions.
