ROJ NEWS ─ As the Kurdish national new year, Newroz in Rojhelat (Eastern Kurdistan) is approaching, the authorities in Iran are working towards denouncing the municipal president in Kirmaşan, by conducting a plan to prevent such important and big celebration.
According ROJ NEWS, sources in Rojhelat region have informed that the authorities in Iran have decided to prevent this important event because “the people have not asked for permission”. The Iranian authorities have decided to denounce Kiyomars Ahmadi, the municipal president, from working in Kirmaşan.
It has also been revealed that the decision was given to the municipal president in Kirmaşan 10 days ago. This has allowed Ahmadi to defend himself in front of the municipal president of Kirmaşan by answering questions asked by the members. If the former decision is rejected, Ahmadi will not be fired.
ROJ NEWS has also been informed that the denouncement of the municipal president in Kirmaşan is a part of a plan. However, this has not stopped the citiznes of Rojhelat to prepare the welcoming of the Kurdish national new year, which is a celebration of Newroz. The main purpose of the leaders of Iran to prevent the citizens of Rojhelat to celebrate this important event, is due to the fact that earlier years such celebration was led by the municipality of Kirmaşan.
