Some Peshmargas of Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDP-Iran) whom are based in Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iraq (KDP-Iraq) territories, areas conterminous with Kêleşîn, continuing their anti-guerrilla propaganda against “Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK)”. A reliable regional source mentioned, their job is only to propagate rumors against PJAK.
A reliable regional source told Firat News Agency (ANF): “It is several days that KDP-Iran sends several groups of their Peshmargas to the villages conterminous with Kêleşîn to do anti-guerrilla propaganda against PJAK. These Peshmargas in their rumors are saying: “we settled and train those who separated from PJAK in a village in Kêleşîn-Xinêre area. Until the spring these trained forces should increase their territories, this is our aim.”
This is while the Kêleşîn incident in the last spring has nothing to do with PJAK and it was a few minutes armed conflict between Guerrillas of “People’s Protection Units (HPG)” and Peshmargas of KDP-Iran.
The Kêleşîn incident
HPG has announced a statement regarding the movement of Peshmarga forces of KDP-Iran and Kêleşîn incident which stated: “Some news regarding the Kêleşîn incident, clearly showing that the incident was a pre-planned conspiracy which completely distorted by some parties and media organizations and they are not of the right purpose.”
At that time the HPG press office mentioned a group of 15 to 20 Peshmargas of KDP-Iran came to the Xinêre area and told the Guerrillas that they want to enter the Eastern Kurdistan soil and whatever help they needed was given to them. They also mentioned, despite of all the helps, that group did not cross the border and settled in a point in Xinêre area that the largest HPG forces is settled there.
Peshmarga’s settlement in that area resulted a short period conflict and death of a Peshmarga. After this incident Peshmargas retreated to the territories under the control of KDP-Iran but still they are claiming they are settling in Kêleşîn.
