Following the recent operations against PJAK in Rojhelat (East Kurdistan), a Revolutionary Guard corps colonel was killed in Serdeşt.
Some close sources to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard corps revealed that during an armed clash with PJAK’s Gerrilla an Iranian Revolutionary Guards colonel was killed in Sardasht. This fight occurred after Iranian regime deployed tens of thousands of its armed forces in Rojhelat against PJAK over the past few days. However, the East Kurdistan Defense Units (YRK) did not start the war.
According to the reports, Colonel Ruhollah Soultani the member of the 25 Division of Karbala guard was killed in an operation against PJAK’s Guerrilla on the evening of Saturday, 13th June, in Sardasht.
After joining to Free and Democratic Community of Rojhelat Kurdistan (KODAR), the Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK) was transformed into a purely political party, however, no comment has been made by PJAK in relation to this matter.
After KODAR was established, PJAK’s armed forces were transformed into defense forces of KODAR under the name of East Kurdistan Defense Units (YRK).
The Commanders of YRK in his previous statement revealed that they will react and respond against the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps who are intending to implementing any projects aiming to destroy nature and resources of Kurdistan.
Islamic republic of Iran has deployed around two hundred thousands of its forces in entire Kurdistan from Maku to Kirmaşan. YRK has declared that their forces will respond categorically to any threat by Iranian regime who deliberately put Kurdistan nature on fire.
