According to latest reports from Human Rights Activists in Iran (HRANA), Arash Sadeghi, Atena Daemi, Aso Rostami, Ali Nuri and Omid Alishenas, that during the past five civil rights activists in Tehran, they were arrested by Intelligence Office remains in solitary confinement 2-A units held in Evin prison in Tehran.

One source said for the transfer of Moradi to solitary confinement: “When he complains about another prisoner’s medical negligence, Ali Moradi got beaten by the guard and placed in solitary confinement.”

Moradi in late February 2003, in the village of Kani Dinar functions of Merîwan in Rojhelat (Eastern Kurdistan), detained by security forces. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison and exile to Minab in charge of membership in Kurdish parties.

Because of the stress in the prison, he got a heart disease and over the years due to a severe heart attack in prison, he had been transferred to the health centres.

That is important to say about Ali Moradi’s history that he got in prison once before for five years in charges of collaborating with the Kurdish parties in 1998 as well.

 

Also in the news in connection with cases of acid throwing in Iran is still warm. Iran’s police chief Esmaeil Ahmadi Moghaddam, Wednesday announced 380 incidents in the first six months of this year and said the attack was more on the events of “jealousy and revenge” taking place.

Iran’s police chief also said that “the perpetrators or incidents of acid have not been arrested.”

Esmaeil Ahmadi Moghaddam said that during the first six months of this year, more than 300 employees were dismissed from the police force but the hope is that the violations decrease 30% by the end of this year.

Violence and oppression against women become the main problem in Iran and acid throwing then came into the political system of Iran.
