Siamand Rahman, Kurdish athlete from Şino (Oshnavieh) and member of Iranian national team was able to get gold medal in 2014’s Paralympic competition in Asia. He dedicated the gold medal to Kobanî.
On 24th of October Siamand Rahman was able to break world records three times and claim championship and gold medal by lifting 292 KG in Asia’s Paralympic competition.
The Kurdish athlete in his Facebook wrote that he dedicates this gold medal to Kobanî and added that Kobanî will always stand tall and proud.
