Iranian regime forces are putting pressure on civil activists and political prisoners in Rojhelat

Iranian Regime Forces

Seems like it was yesterday when the Amnesty International highlighted human rights in Iran have “remained a low” priority despite earlier promises made during the presidential campaign of Rouhani, furthermore Iran’s prisons remain full of political prisoners and prisoners of conscience, many of whom suffer from lack of adequate medical care. The Islamic Regime of Iran quickly gallops his horse in the international arena, and nobody can stop him.

This figure is more terrible in the Kurdistan region. Iranian regime always has been labelled Kurds as “separatist” and has suffocate any dissenting voices in the country so that in recent years has been denied Kurdish people from the cultural and political participation in their affairs.

Yusif Awxiraban, Wahid Seyidi and Mohemmed Mewlanayi members of Mehabad Coordination Committee were taken into custody after going to court. Campaign in Defence of Civil and Political Prisoners quoted from Coordination Committee of Trade Unions.

It is worth mentioning that the three labour activists were arrested in city of Mehabad in January 2013.

These three members of the Coordination Committee of the Mehabad were sentenced to five years imprisonment in total by the Revolutionary Court of Mehabad in September 2013.

Maintaining threat to the religious inmates

Impose different pressures on Sunni detainees continues by the Ettelaat troops at the end of their imprisonment and during their free.

According to Campaign in Defence of Civil and Political Prisoners, Ebdulwahid Marufzade teacher of Mathematics who has spent 18 months in Urmiye Intelligence Office and Rajaei-Shahr Prison of Karaj was realised some time ago from prison after completing his sentence.

Unlike the Prisons Law, he is threatened with expulsion from teaching and deported to the city of Miyanduaw (Miandoab) for two years by the security intelligence service. An informed source told the Campaign.

It is notable that Ebdulwahid is Sunni citizen from Shino (city in Rojhelat) holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and now he teaches as a teacher at the elementary school.

The extrajudicial measure of Iran’s security forces has become a legitimate and normal after the release of prisoners so where are exposed to various threats and pressures the prisoners and their families as well.

Although in the last 4 month some of the political prisoners were released from prison once Rouhani came to power, the Kurdish political prisoners were excluded from the amnesty. Contrary to Mr Rouhani’s election campaign slogans discriminatory policies still systematically implemented by his government and since his government came to power dozens of Kurds has been arrested.

International circles of human rights are concerned about the new wave of arrest of political activists and journalists in Iran and Rojhelat (East Kurdistan).
