EAST KURDISTAN ─ On the 23rd of September, a Kurdish citizen from Seqiz (Saghez) who is called by the name of Behruz Borhani, was targeted by the Iranian security forces. Consequently, he was killed.
According to the Firat News Agency, while Behruz Borhani was driving on the road between Seqiz and Diwandere, he was attacked by the Iranian security forces, as they thought he was carrying drugs. Without evidence, he was struck down by the authorities.
On the other hand, on the 21st night of September, another Kurdish citizen from Mehabad who is known by the name of Rehman Rehimi, he was shot directly by the Iranian troops and while he was driving on the road, near the Sebetlu village in Bane. As a result, he was seriously wounded. Rehman Rehimi is being treated in a hospital in Tehran but doctors say he might not make it due to the severity of his wounds.
According to vital statistics released by local sources in East Kurdistan from the beginning of July until present day, 19 Kurdish civilians have been shot directly by Iranian military forces, 8 of them have been killed and 11 of them have been seriously injured.
