NORTH KURDISTAN, AMED ─ Selahattin Demirtaş the co-chair of Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) who visited Kurdish national leader, Abdullah Öcalan on Sunday, September 14, discussed some details of this visit with the Özgür Gündem newspaper.
Demirtaş had an interview with the Özgür Gündem newspaper regarding his recent meeting with Öcalan. He said: “Mr Öcalan said that since 1950 there is a another government inside Turkish government that we can name it as ‘Contra-Guerilla’, ‘Gladio’ or ‘the hidden government’ which its main body is abroad and relies on international powers. In fact this hidden government is the main barrier on the path to solving the Kurdish issue. Nowadays whatever the Justice and Development Party (AKP) is doing while deals with the Kurdish issue could be observed in the appearance of hidden government’s desire.”
Demirtaş also confirmed the words of Öcalan and said although the hidden government is apparently willing to establish peace but indeed it is trying to frustrate the peace process and impose war and violence on the Kurdish side.
Behind the terror of three Kurdish politicians in Paris, cancellation of licenses of Kurdish TV channels and elimination of Kurdish politicians under the name of fighting against KCK is the hidden government.
In Öcalan’s opinion, he said, after Turkey’s joining of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the gladio of NATO along with some organizations in US like “Utah” and separates lobbies that recently some sects have been added to them are inside the hidden government. Öcalan emphasized that despite changing of some of the players of hidden government in different time scales, the aims and procedures of this government still is the same.
Demirtaş also by stating that the strategy of BDP and the ‘People’s Democratic Congress’ in the future election have been discussed between them, says Öcalan from the beginning demanded entering of People’s Democratic Congress into the field of action and supported it, despite the probability that some may not be aware of the importance of such a congress. Öcalan believes that, this is a strategic and not a tactical act because the only way of co-existence and mutual understanding of nations of Mesopotamia, Anatolia, and the Middle East is the joint struggle.
The co-chair of BDP said in this meeting Öcalan had special greetings for Assyrian and Syriac nations and for all political prisoners and public of Kurdistan.
Kurdish national leader Abdullah Öcalan noted that until the last breath as free man and politician he will continue the struggle for finding solution to the problems and accomplishment of freedom.
