Health condition of Zeyneb Celaliyan is severely deteriorated, she is not allowed to be cured
According to the Iranian Khabar Agency, Miss Celaliyan is suffering from eye problems and needs to be cured outside the prison. Yet, the authorities give not permission for outside of prison treatment.
The Kurdish female activist was arrested in 2008 with the charges of being working with one of the Kurdish political parties and has been under cruel tortures since then. She was then sentenced to death execution. After criticizing her sentence by Kurdish activists, her punish was reduced to life-sentence. The Kurdish political prisoner, Zeyneb Celaliyan, is now held in the women section of Kirmaşan (Kermanshah).
Zeyneb Celaliyan was born in 1982 in the east of Kurdistan, city of Maku and although she is arrested with the political charges but she is not recognised as a political prisoner and has none of the rights that a political prisoner or even a simple prisoner should have.
