EAST KURDISTAN, — The mother of Zanyar Muradi in a letter to human rights organizations and political parties urged not to allow his son to be executed by Iranian regime. She said his son was convicted when he was less than 18 years old.
“In contrary to the charges against him, Zanyar did not have any knowledge in using firearms. It is clear for most of people and even to the Iranian authorities that all the accusations against them are lies and Zanyar and Loqman confessed under sever torture”, the Mother of Zanyar wrote in her letter.
“It is clear that Zanyar was convicted because of political activities of his father and in a fake scenario”, the letter read.
The mother of Zanyar in her letter urged human rights organizations and political parties to pressure Iranian regime to stop the execution of his son and Loqman and release them or try them in a fair trial.
On the other hand, Zaniayar Muradi in a letter from Rajai Shahr prison prison said, “I do not want to die with my ambitions unfulfilled; do not allow they execute me”. He urged all the youth around the world; “in Europe, America, Australia and Asia that by using their creativity to do something to show Iranian regime that we are not alone and show their protest regarding these sentences”.
Zanyar wrote in his letter, “Iranian intelligence forces forced us under tortures to confess to the crimes we had not committed”.
Zanyar and Loqman Muradi are two Kurdish political prisoners sentenced to public hanging on charges of moharebeh (enmity against God) and “corruption on earth.
