NEWSDESK, — In a written statement Rehman Haci Ehmedi the General Secretary of Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) expresses his sorrow and grieving for the lives of two Kurdish primary school who died of wounds that were inflicted by conflagration in their classroom in Shinawe village.
He also calls upon the Kurds to manifest their abhorrence against the discriminative and exploitative policies of Iranian regime in East Kurdistan.
The full statement reads as follow:
For Kurdish patriotic nation and the entire humanist people
During a heartbreaking catastrophe occurred on 5 December in Shinawe village 37 minor girls got their bodies blistered amid a fire in their classroom and unfortunately two of them have died of wounds. That episode is not a normal catastrophe and it should not be regarded only as an ignorance of some people or some state officials.
That catastrophe is the result of systematic policies of Iranian Islamic Regime attempted to eradicate and annihilate the Kurdish nation. The underlying reasons for the burning of our daughters in the school of Shinawe village are the same grounds for the execution of our youths in the Iranian prisons, for the killing of our daughters and sons in the mountains of Kurdistan, for the daily killing of the Kurdish kolbers on the borders, for the extreme and widespread poverty across Kurdistan, for the induced drug addiction among Kurdish youths, for the self-immolation of women and the moral collapse of the society. These are all associated together and pursued within the context of the Iranian colonial policies in Kurdistan. Owing to this, the whole regime and its entire policies should be condemned.
Hereby, as the Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK) we regard this catastrophe as an instance of mass-killing and condemn it in the strongest possible manner. Those who were killed in this catastrophe are the victims of the policies of annihilation pursued by the Iranian regime and are also symbols of innocence and martyrdom of our people. Along with our condolences for the family and relatives of these two innocent martyrs, we express our backing for the announcing of Thursday as the day of public grief. We also call upon our nation to not only express their sorrow and compassion; they should also manifest their abhorrence and detestation toward the burning and killing polices pursued by the Iranian regime.
