KCK: Kurds paid too much to achieve their rights

NEWSDESK, — In the International Day of Human Rights, the Executive Council of Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) released a statement evaluating the current phase.

The Executive Council of Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) in its statement issued in relation to International Day of Human Right says: the only measure for being human is the enjoyment of their rights.

Nowadays in Kurdistan, continues KCK, the essential problem is that Kurds were being denied of their rights. Although, the Kurdish nation have paid too much for achieving their rights, but the Turkish government violate their fundamental rights in front of the international community.

The Turkish government, observes KCK, violate Kurds’ right to educate in mother tongue and their other rights by the laws that have been approved.

The KCK statement continues as follow; since the time the Turkish government was established on the base of nation-state, they have attempted to assimilate the Kurdish nation. Against the attacks orchestrated by police and military forces on the Kurds and their culture, they have showed outstanding resistance led by Abdulla Ocalan—Leader Apo.

By adopting conspiracy policy, outlined the statement and adds, the Turkish government attempts to abort solutions suggested by Leader Apo. Despite recognizing that the 68-days hunger strike was ended by a call from Leader Apo, instead of positive answer to the expectations of the public opinion, Turkish government is attempting to remove immunity from Kurdish MPs. Thus, Erdogan lost this opportunity.

In addition, Turkish government in KCK operation again has arrested tens of people. The purpose of these operations, that are completely illegal, is for destroying Kurdish nation, added the statement.

KCK at the end of its statement says; no one should be silent regarding to the dirty policies of AKP. The entire Kurdish nation should expand their struggle vis-a-vis the alliance of AKP and Gulen faction, ended the statement.
