PAJK: Women are in the frontline of the PKK

NEWSDESK, — In a statement released in relation to the 34th anniversary of PKK’s establishment, Kurdistan’s Free Women Party (PAJK) said; in the struggle led by the PKK and Abdulla Ocalan, the Kurdish national leader, the guerrilla forces along with the Kurdish nation are nowadays writing the pages of their history and the story of freedom.

PKK means free life; stresses the PAJK statement, adding its congratulation of 34th anniversary of the PKK establishment to the Kurdish people.

The statement adds the following; “We congratulate the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the PKK, a movement of suffering and freedom that coincides with the renaissance of Kurdish nation, to Leader Apo and the martyrs as well as the Kurdish people.

With the establishment of the PKK new doors were opened for the Kurds in Kurdistan, said the statement and adds; nowadays all people from young to elderly are the followers of the PKK and the Leader Apo, the architect of this movement.

Women are at the frontline of this massive movement, the statement notes while reminding the historical courage of Kurdish women associated with philosophy of freedom outlined by the PKK.

At the end of the statement PAJK quote one of the dictums of Leader Apo that says “The PKK is party of women”.
