SERIKANI, West Kurdistan, — Two bandit groups named as Garab Alsham and Nasra that are believed to be sponsored by Turkey raided the Kurdish demonstrators in Serikani killing the head of city’s People Assembly Abid Xalid and a youth while wounding three others.
Following the raid by the bandit groups, the Units of People Protection (YPG) warned that such raids would not go unpunished.
According to the local sources the Kurdish demonstrators ware heading toward Serikani city in a parade organised by Kurdish High Council that were attacked and fired on by the bandit groups.
As the result of the bandits firing on the Kurdish demonstrators the head of the city’s People’s Assembly Abid Xalid and another youth whose identity has not been known were killed while three others were serious wounded.
